Our client a major investment bank is seeking to expand it's Product Control team in Asia Pacific Region. In order to meet the increased business needs stemming from the success of the global strategy they are looking for individuals at AVP / VP level who are confident with partnering with front office.
Product Control - AVP / VP

Requirements:
You should be accounting-qualified with 10 years experience in banking and finance industry with at least 4 years of experience in Product Control with an investment bank in either one of the main product areas, ideally equities.
Ambitious and driven individuals, who are comfortable in a fast-moving and forever changing environment.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of the daily Profit & Loss reports including reconciliation, analytical review and providing commentary for P&L movements
Production and review of weekly independent price testing processes
Preparation of the month end Balance Sheet reports for the business.
Close liaison with the trading desk to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of trader queries and provision of other ad-hoc business support.
Close liaison with Middle Office, Market Risk, Operations and other Finance teams to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of queries.
Performance of independent pricing procedures, liaising with internal and external parties to source independent price data.
Development of procedures and controls including P&L and independent pricing processes.
Understand source system breaks/reconciliations and assist the Ledger Control team in investigations and clearing breaks.
Perform regular SOX testing and controls.
Project work covering controls enhancement, efficiency initiatives and strategic developments
